Partnership Outreach

Georgia Tech engages with a variety of partners across the state to ensure our outreach is wide-reaching and impactful. Our partnership network includes community-based organizations, non-profits, government agencies, the entrepreneur and business community, and higher education institutions in the region and beyond.

Collaborations with Georgia Tech can advance new areas of research, equip organizations with innovative ideas for growth, and empower students to take leadership roles in internship and volunteer programs.

Our Approach to Partnerships

In collaboration with other units, we take the Asset Based Community Development approach to building relationships and partnerships.

The Asset Based Community Development approach is rooted in the philosophy that communities are rich with innovative solutions, and that with proper investment and amplification, can be employed to combat pressing social and economic challenges. At the center of this approach is the recognition and identification of the assets a community already possesses within its people, history, and collective knowledge. Explore the Asset Based Community Approach developed by the Asset Based Community Development Institute of DePaul University.
